Good day! This is PhilLife! Time flies. This time, warm spring has come, and a new school semester has begun in Korea maybe. :) Some of you may be moving to the Philippines with your family for various reasons, such as parents' work, your children's study abroad, or else. At this time, you may be transferring your children’s school from Korea to the Philippines together. Today, based on my experience, I would like to briefly look at the documents and processes necessary for children to be transferring and exempted from attending school. The contents mentioned below are based on elementary/grade school. When transfer a school from Korea to the Philippines, 1. Documents to be submitted to school in Korea; include exemption applications, family relations certificates, resident registration, prior consent for joint use of administrative information (for proof of entry), personal information collection and third-party consent, proof of work (parents’ working permit, certif...
