[Daily Life] Visiting Haidilao Hot Pot in MOA

I recently went to Haidilao Hot Pot, which opened in Mall Of Asia (MOA).

When I went to the mall with my family earlier this year, it was before opening, and they were distributing red and small paper bags with the logo to people at a freebie for promoting them.

At that time, all of my children also received it, so I was thinking that if it opens, I'll visit once, but this time, I visited on a date with my wife.

Since it's the first store I've seen in the Philippines, I searched it and it's the largest hot pot chain in China, and there are already many branch stores in many countries around the world, including Australia, Canada, the United States, Singapore, Korea, and else.

First, the store is large, and the exterior and interior are nice. And there is a small playroom so parents with children like us can eat comfortably.

The order is trendy in the tablet menu, which can also be seen in Korean. However, some menus are not translated into Korean, but are written in Chinese characters, so we checked the English version.
You choose the base soup first, and there is a cost depending on the type of soup, and if you choose plain water for base coup, it is free. There are many types of soup, such as spicy, mild, and you can choose from one to four types in a square pot.

Dishes in hot pots are classified into protein, vegetables, tofu, mushrooms, and noodles, including pork, beef, lamb, seafood, and special parts, and desserts, beverage menus can be added.

On seasoning self-bar, various kind of sauces and salads, pickles, kimchi, and three kinds of fruits were prepared. When I did Bill Out, I was given free ice cream for dessert, and when I saw bill, I realized that the seasoning bar was charged 100 pesos per person.

Next to the entrance of the store is a takeaway drink bar and a free manicure service Desk. Manicure is available before and after meals.

The food was nice for us, and most of all, the service of the staffs was good. It was impressive to see them all being kind, removing used tissues and plates, cleaning up dirty tables with soup or food, checking for any inconvenience and nothing needed, and continuing to take care of the guests.

There is currently a student discount. If you bring your children's school ID when you visit, you will get a discount.

얼마전, Mall Of Asia(MOA)에 오픈한 Haidilao Hot Pot에 다녀왔습니다.

 

올 해 초 가족들과 함께 몰에 갔을 때는 오픈 전이었고, 과자가 든 로고가 적힌 빨갛고 작은 종이가방을 프리비로 사람들에게 나누어 주며 홍보하고 있었어요.

그 때 저희 아이들도 빠짐없이 받아와서, ‘오픈하면 한 번 방문해야지.’ 생각하고 있었는데, 이번에 아내와 오랜만의 데이트를 이곳에서 하게 되었네요.

 

필리핀에서 처음 보는 가게라 검색을 해봤는데, 중국에서 가장 큰 핫 팟 체인점으로, 필리핀 뿐만 아니라 호주, 캐나다, 미국, 싱가포르, 한국 등 세계의 여러 나라에 이미 많은 체임점이 있더라구요.

일단, 매장의 규모가 크고, 외부, 내부 인테리어가 굉장히 깔끔합니다. 오픈 전부터 눈여겨봤던 작은 놀이방은 매장 내, 외, 모두에서 볼 수 있는 구조로 저희처럼 아이들이 있는 부모님들도 편하게 식사가 가능할 것 같습니다.

 

주문은 트랜드하게 타블랫 메뉴판으로 하는데, 한국어로도 볼 수 있습니다. 단, 어떤 메뉴는 한국어로 번역이 되지 않고, 한자로 표기되어서 저희는 영어 버전으로 확인했습니다.

먼저 메뉴는 베이스 국물부터 선택하는데, 국물의 종류에 따라 비용이 부과되며, 일반 물을 선택할 경우는 무료입니다.

국물은 매운맛, 순한맛, 마라탕 등 종류가 다양하고, 사각형 팟에 하나부터 최대 네 종류까지 고르실 수 있습니다. 저희는 매운맛(마라탕 맛이 났습니다), 버섯국물, 두 종류를 선택하였는데, 버섯 국물은 은은한 버섯 향이 나서 아내가 좋아하더라구요.

핫 팟에 넣어 먹는 디쉬는 프로틴, 야채, 두부, 버섯, 국수 등으로 분류가 되어있는데, 돼지고기, 소고기, 양고기, 해산물, 특수부위 등이 있으며, 디저트, 음료 메뉴 등을 추가할 수 있습니다.

시즈닝 셀프바에도 다양한 종류의 소스와 샐러드, 피클류, 김치, 그리고 디저트로 세 종류의 과일이 함께 준비되어 있습니다.

빌 아웃을 할 때, 아이스크림을 디저트로 주어서 맛있게 먹고, 그 때 빌을 보고서야 시즈닝바가 인당 100페소씩 부과된다는 것을 알았어요.ㅎㅎ

매장 입구 옆으로 테이크아웃 음료 판매대와 무료 매니큐어 서비스 데스트가 있습니다. 매니큐어는 식사 전, 후로 가능합니다.

 

저희 부부에게는 음식도 괜찮았고, 무엇보다 직원들의 서비스가 좋았습니다. 모두 친절하고, 사용한 화장지나 접시를 치워주고, 국물이나 음식으로 지저분해진 테이블을 닦아주고, 불편한 점은 없는지, 필요한건없는지 확인하며 손님을 계속 케어 해주는 모습이 인상적이었습니다.

 

그리고 현재 학생 할인을 하고 있다고 하더라구요. 방문하실 때 아이들 스쿨 아이디를 지참하면 할인이 된다고 합니다.
